We have a dedicated team whose aim is to create a site full of pages of general local interest; a portal for keeping everyone informed of new and exciting things happening in the village and the area around us and to allow local businesses to advertise their products and services for a very small annual fee.

Corona Virus (Covid-19)
The corona virus is significantly hitting Horton Village life so we all need to protect ourselves and each other from catching this virus.
Our village shop and Post Office is open and thriving so please call on 52684 for more information. Face masks must be worn in the shop.
Horton Village Open gardens did not take place last year so a few villagers have taken a short video of their gardens just to show what they have been up to during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Our 'Local' Heroes !
From early March, the Post Office and local shop has remained open to serve Horton, Broadway and other local villages.
Notwithstanding both lockdowns and the Tier restrictions of the Covid pandemic Nina, her staff and volunteers stayed open throughout, thus ensuring our postal service and provisions have been available for all.
They also made sure that newspapers and provisions were delivered to those self-isolating, the elderly and caring for those living alone. All this, at no small risk to their own health.
In recognition, members of the Parish Council and Village Hall arranged for a plaque to be made for Nina and the staff to be placed on the outside wall as a permanent reminder of their exceptional support on behalf of the whole community.
Thank you on behalf of everyone Nina and well done!
